well ....it's been a while since I came right out and brought up this subject. If you click on my name and go back to my very first posts, I showed up here simply to share a place I had found. lately more and more friends from archive are coming over to join.... and I say why not? you can never have too many friends. :)

so stephanie (and anyone else reading)... if you haven't found your way to www.deadhook.com yet, I'd like to say 'welcome'.

what has happened to you Stephanie since you got here at LMA, would not happen there. You can be free to discuss non-dead subjects, without having to appoligize, or even mention they are non-dead. You could participate as much or as little as you'd like. and you should find some of the names their familiar.

I am dancinbears their also. I welcome everyone to come see what it's all about.

:)

Mlle. Bears,

I'm a creature of habit-yeah, I know, that makes me unique among members of the human race, but I'm used to being a flippin' weirdo-so any intention I've had of checking out Deadhook have fallen prey to procrastination. But now that the stupid "multiple poster" issue has reared its ugly head once again, I will have to move Deadhook higher on the to-do list.

Beyond that, I just don't "get it," to coin a phrase that was used in replies that got posted in Stephanie Brown's earlier thread. RBNW posts stuff of value here and there, and then starts up one of these harangues. Ironic, too, that he would choose to do so in reply to a post titled "Please do not read this is if you are at all paranoid (Non Dead) ...," isn't it?

hi Bryan :)

hopefully you will come over to deadhook sooner than later, and take a peek around. you might be surprised to see a good number of familiar faces. and the ones that are not familiar are worth getting to know. trust me on this. :)

As for RBNW... maybe he just needs a really good {{{hug}}}. :)

Howdy Phil. Glad to see you over here. Maybe you can straighten out some of the riff raff that hangs out here!

OK now boys, before you load yer flamethrowers and point 'em at me...in the immortal words of the great philosopher Foghorn Leghorn, "It was just a joke, son."

I-I-I know what you're gonna say Bryan. When two halves is gone there's nuthin' left - and you're right. It's a little ol' poster who wasn't there. Two nuthins is nuthin'. That's mathematics son. You can argue with me but you can't argue with figures. Two half nuthins is a whole nuthin'.

[Sorry, had to look that one up]

No apologies necessary. I would have needed to look it up, too. Let me guess: http://onefoggy.tripod.com/flfaqt.html#quotes1

You know, we might solve all the problems here if everyone was req'd to use quotes from Warner Bros toons for all communication.

I am game.

You have to admit, Foghorn is one of the all time greats. My wife and I have used his lines over the thirty years we raised our kids, along with Sylvester's kid's lines ("Oh father, the shame, the shame," etc). It was almost as useful as our copy of Dr. Spock.
